Flintlock Blunderbuss

A classic English flintlock blunderbuss from the late 18th century, featuring the iconic flared brass barrel designed to spread shot at close range. This example is fitted with a spring-loaded bayonet mounted on top of the barrel, a common feature for coaching guns of the period to repel highwaymen. The walnut stock is sturdy, and the lock mechanism functions with a strong spring. These weapons were intimidating and effective crowd controllers or defensive arms aboard ships.
